Grease is a specially formulated product that has its thickness defined by an NLGI Code. An NLGI code describes the thickness of the packaged product. Different industrial machinery will require a specific level of thickness to run properly. Industrial Grease comes in Tubes, Cases, Pails, Kegs and drums. If you are looking for Food Grade grease, we have options available. Another type of industrial grease that we often receive requests for is “moly” grease, we can get this as well. All major oil brands have a grease product line that accommodates the specifications of large machinery manufacturers.

Grease comes in multiple colors to help its users see if there is any leak on their equipment. The most common request is for “red” grease. We carry red grease in multiple brands. If you are looking to get your product in a rush and the product is not in stock, we can provide you with an acceptable alternative. Below, we have listed the major grease brands and their producers
Gadus Grease
Gadus Grease has an NLGI range that spans from 00 to 3. The Gadus 100 series is a multipurpose grease, this will fit most of your general grease needs. The Gadus 220 Series suits extreme pressure needs, within this category, you can find grease that have water resistance and higher temperature. The final part of the Gadus line includes the 460 series, which is made for high temperatures and heavy duty protection.
Mobil Grease
The four major grease products provided by Mobil are Polyrex, Unirex and XHP. The Polyrex series is NSF H1 registered and high temperature, it is white in color and comes in NLGI ratings 00 to 2, depending on the product purchased. The Unirex series is a multi purpose grease that offers water resistance, extreme pressure protection and protection against rust and corrosion. Specialized for outdoor wear and tear, the XHP series stands up well in “contaminated” environments. This series was made with marine and construction companies in mind.
66 Phillips Grease
We see requests for four industrial grease product lines by Phillips 66 Lubricants. The 66 Dynalife series is a multipurpose lithium grease that can have an NLGI rating of 000 to 3. The Multiplex series comes with an NLGI rating of either 1 or 2 and it is a general purpose Lithium Complex Grease. The Megaplex Series is specially formulated to contain 3% or 5% Moly (molybdenum disulfide). Phillips 66 provides a Food Grade Grease, it comes with an NLGI of 2 and it is NSF H1 certified.
